On 19 February 2021 at Suvarnabhumi Airport, the United States Embassy in Thailand was hand over the COVID-19 Laboratory equipment to the Suvarnabhumi airport lab unit for testing and screening passengers who arrived from abroad. At the site visit, the Department of Disease Control colleagues are practicing and explaining the protocol of Airport screening and testing in the passenger.
"This cooperation was supported by the United States Embassy in Thailand are supporting the screening capacity. Since early January, Thailand started screening and still working 24/7 to make sure the COVID-19 can't spread to others from the airport areas." Dr. Rome Buathong the Expert doctor said
